Abiding by the core value of Christ’s teaching that we shall love our neighbors as ourselves, we planned the curriculum emphasizing respect for life, care for community and the world, as well as holistic nursing for body, mind, and soul, thus cultivating in students sustainable excellence based on love and scientific methods. To implement evidence-based nursing education, the curriculum design focuses on the link between professional theories and clinical practice and emphasizes the development of research and teaching competences. In addition, to foster nursing professionals who also pursue humane care, we include courses such as the Mackay Lectures and service learning in the curriculum; we arrange opportunities for domestic and international medical service in order to help students experience and uphold the core value of loving people as themselves.
