The mission of the Department of Nursing, Mackay Medical College, is to foster good nursing professionals who have “respect for life and love your neighbor as yourself”. Instructional design is centered on encouraging students to actively participate in learning. We cultivate students in scientific evidence-based nursing with an emphasis on criticism and reflection, in the hope that nursing personnel from Mackay Medical College will inherit the personality traits and service attitude of Dr. Mackay, and serve as professional nurses with excellent communication skills, fundamental knowledge and clinical techniques. They will become technologically skilled while possessing an international outlook and diverse abilities.
